EDDIE CASINO BAND

Original American Rock • Soul • Storytelling

Las Vegas, Nevada

ABOUT

The Eddie Casino Band is an original American rock band built around timeless songwriting, powerful live performances, and genuine connection. Led by singer-songwriter Dave Ritz, the band blends the storytelling of Tom Petty, the musicianship of Dave Matthews Band, the melodic accessibility of Rob Thomas, the groove of Sting, and the roots-driven energy of Barenaked Ladies into a sound that feels both familiar and unmistakably their own.

With a catalog of more than 100 original songs, Eddie Casino Band isn’t chasing trends—they’re building a body of work designed to stand the test of time.

THE LIVE EXPERIENCE

Whether performing as an intimate acoustic trio or a full band, every show is centered on the songs. Audiences are invited into “The Listening Room,” where stories behind the music, dynamic performances, and authentic audience interaction create an unforgettable experience.

The band’s lineup features acoustic guitar, electric fiddle, saxophone, bass, and drums, delivering a rich, energetic sound that moves effortlessly from intimate ballads to anthemic rock.

Rolling Stones Article:

Las Vegas doesn’t raise singer-songwriters — it devours them.
But somehow, Dave Ritz, a Cleveland-born songwriting troubadour with desert dust on his shoes and Rock n Roll in his blood, didn’t just survive it. He carved something real out of neon and noise.

Ritz isn’t your typical “emerging artist.” He’s spent two decades slipping through the cracks of every label system, self-producing under bar lights and casinos, crafting songs like they were confessions whispered through a motel wall. But now? Something’s changed. There’s a buzz — not loud, but low and persistent — like the hum before the amp explodes.

You might have seen him opening for Aaron Lewis, 3 Doors Down or O.A.R., or maybe caught a stripped-back set that left a Vegas lounge stunned silent.
His voice — equal parts gravel and grace — cuts deeper than it should. Think Springsteen’s heart with Dave Matthews emotional rasp, and the Tom Petty/Rob Thomas-like storytelling chops of a guy who’s actually lived it.

The industry’s starting to circle.
Top Executives of Red Light Management and other Talent agencies have taken a shine.
So have Producers and Vegas’ top entertainment executives.
Support and Sponsorships have helped with opportunities to open for Headling bands/artists that come through Vegas. Exposing ECB to music fans that have their eyes, ears and hearts open to new live original music that they connect to.
With MGM in their corner and a reputation for turning live sets into spiritual experiences, the Eddie Casino Band is no longer just a local legend.

They’re the next thing breaking — and they’re bringing the whole city with them. They’re not handing him a path.
They’re watching him build one.

And Ritz?
He’s not chasing fame. “I’ve always just written songs I needed to sing,” he tells me, coffee in hand, eyes scanning the room like someone who’s had to read people more than press releases.
“If that connects, that’s beautiful.
If not, I’m still gonna do it. It’s who I am. My Identity.”

But it is connecting — fast.
His latest unreleased demos have the kind of drive that doesn’t ask for permission. They demand to be heard. There’s talk of a debut LP, live sessions at Smokers Lounge Studios in Las Vegas, maybe even a short run with someone like Chris Stapleton, Mt. Joy, OAR, Billy Strings and Goose.

Is this a comeback story? No.
Because to come back, you had to have been given a proper shot.
Dave Ritz is the guy who never got invited to the party — so he built his own damn stage.

And trust us:
the crowd is finally arriving.

If you ask his fans how they found Dave Ritz, they’ll usually tell you the same thing: “Somehow, he found me.”

🎧 3. “Eddie Casino”
“Eddie’s not real — but he’s also everywhere. We’ve all met him. Some of us are him. He’s the guy at the bar with a story that’s too good to be true — and probably is. I wrote it as a tribute to the beautifully broken down human who never gave up the fight.”
The Eddie Casino Band members play in the Spirit of Eddie Casino.
They celebrate with the audience through musical jams and catchy hooks that keep them coming back for more.

In the neon glow of Las Vegas, where cover bands outnumber cabs and sound-alikes line Fremont like slot machines, Dave Ritz & The Eddie Casino Band have done something rare: they found their voice — and it doesn’t sound like anyone else’s.

Sure, the influence is there. You hear echoes of Petty, moments of Matthews, even shades of Rob Thomas if you squint through the smoke.
But then the violin cuts in — electric, raw, snarling like a Les Paul on the edge of breaking — and everything shifts.

The result is a sound that lives in familiar territory but doesn’t sound like anyone else’s address. It’s rootsy but modern, soulful but unpretentious. Something you think you’ve heard before — until you realize no one else could’ve made it quite like this.

“We finally stopped trying to sound like anybody,” Ritz says. “And that’s when it started sounding like us.”

There’s a bar just off Sahara Avenue where the drinks come strong, the neon flickers out, and the ghosts of old Vegas still whisper from the shadows.
It’s there, on a sweat-slicked stage beneath a flickering Bud Light sign, that The Eddie Casino Band built a sound that doesn’t follow a map — it burns one.

Imagine Springsteen fronting a rootsy jam band with an electric violin that shreds like a Strat, a saxophone that speaks in tongues, and a rhythm section that rumbles like a freight train pulling out of the desert.

This is The Eddie Casino Band — a name born from local lore, worn like a badge, and delivered like a dare. They’re not here to entertain.
They’re here to transform the room and become the soundtrack for late nights, open highways, and everything in between.
