Testimonials

"Rory played piano at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He was absolutely incredible to work with from the moment we first spoke on an introductory call to the wedding day and beyond. He played some songs for me over the phone and I was blown away by his talent. He even learned some music for us - as I am a lover of fellow Wisconsin artist Bon Iver. I would work with Rory over and over again!" - Sarah, bride

“Can not say enough good things about Rory. I threw a retirement party and we thought 100 people would attend… turned out we had 300 people. Rory kept the crowd engaged and having a great time. The man’s voice is amazing and his song choices for the evening was perfect. If you have a party, big or small, Rory is your guy. I hosted a party… but in reality, I hosted a concert. Thankyou Rory! We will be booking him for our next event.” -Kellie, private client

“Rory did an absolutely amazing performance for us at a 50th birthday party! He was so kind to work the music to play exactly the songs we hoped to hear. He leveled up the experience by changing into various costumes throughout the live performance. He is an incredible performer and puts on a fantastic high energy show. His performance brought the house down!!! I would love to watch him perform again and I certainly will call him for the next event!!! Thank you for making a 50th birthday the best birthday ever!” -Catrena, surprise 50th birthday

“Rory Bolton performed at our event last weekend and was absolutely fantastic. He brought such a fun energy to the evening and did an amazing job getting everyone engaged and enjoying themselves.

Beyond the music itself, Rory was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. He was flexible, collaborative, and really cared about helping us create the kind of atmosphere we wanted for our group. He made the entire night feel easy and memorable.

We’re so grateful he was part of our event and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for great music and an even better experience.” -Ellie, private client

“Rory is an incredibly special musical talent and truly rates a six-star review. In his music therapist role at AngelsGrace Hospice, my dad, sister, and I had the pleasure of hearing him sing and play his guitar twice to my mom in her final week of life. He perfectly sang the meaningful songs that she wanted to hear and that moved us all to tears. Rory's spiritual and musical tone and delivery are calming and angelic, and my mom even said after they first met that he had "a rare gift." She was spot on, and I can't help but think my mom's second opportunity to hear his guitar playing and singing within hours of her passing helped her transition peacefully to heaven. It was as if she was waiting for the encore performance. In fact, we were so moved by how vested Rory was in my mom's journey and ours that we even hired him to play at her Memorial the following month. Again, he shined, playing his guitar and singing the most beautiful songs that we requested, ultimately turning the Memorial into a powerfully moving event. During the reception that followed, there were so many people that came up to my dad, sister and me and told us how wonderful the Memorial was. Rory was clearly a big reason for this. I only wish we were able to thank him in person following the event. Maybe I'll get to hear him play the piano one day too. Rory, thank you so much for helping us get through the last six weeks.” -William, hospice family
